Well, I finally have a dA account, with a couple of pictures posted. I'm really starting to get into photography, though it's sorta unexpected. I was at Anime Weekend Atlanta (AWA) this year (Sep 23-25, '05) and was able to get quite a few decent shots with the new digital camera (Fujifilm S5100). After posting them to various discusson sites, I received quite a bit of positive feedback, including one person who wanted me to take her pics next year instead of her b/f! lol So, that experience along with others has encouraged me to more seriously prusue the whole camera thing.

I'm also going to be looking for a professional camera over the next year. My Fuji is okay for the basics, but I have quickly found myself bumping into its limitations. Any suggestions (I'm thinking Canon or Nikon) or warnings would be most appreciated. TIA.
